We have created this space for you to attend to God, yourself and one another with a focus on Ezra 4:1-5, 24; 5:1-5. The context for this part of the Bible is the people of Israel (Judah) returning home from exile in Babylon. They are recommitting themselves to be faithful to God, restoring their worship and community life. Because of their commitment to this faithful life, they experience push-back, sabotage and discouragement. Today we consider this dynamic and consider what we need to overcome our own times of discouragement.
