Vacation Bible School
Join us summer 2025 for Vacation Bible School the week of July 21st-25th from 9:00-12:00. Our theme this year is TRUE NORTH Trusting Jesus in a Wild World.
At TRUE NORTH VBS, kids will be adventuring through the wilderness of Alaska as they play, create, worship, and learn together that Jesus is the one they can always trust. Kids that are 4-years old through those that have completed 5th grade are invited to join us Monday through Friday for a week of fun, friendships, active learning and more as we celebrate our friendship with Jesus.

Family Bible Time
Join Ms Martha for Family Bible Time! Enjoy these Bible lessons designed for families to do together on Sunday mornings or whatever day and time works best for your family. The family Bible studies are created in learning units with 4 to 5 lessons in each unit. Have fun learning and talking about the different Bible stories and how they relate to your family!
Children's Sunday Classes
We have children’s small group Bible study classes at Grace United Methodist that meet during both the 9:00 and the 11:00 services. ***Service hours change for the months of June and July to one service at 10:00 which is when the children's group Bible study classes meet in those months.*** The Sunday Group teachers are all caring and dedicated adults who have have completed training and a background screening to provide a healthy & safe environment for all children. Children sit with their families in the sanctuary for a short time of worship and then are taken to their classrooms by the Sunday Group teachers and are returned to their parents in the sanctuary at the end of the service. Parents are always welcome to join their child in their Sunday Group to see the fun and learning taking place.
Unto Others
Unto Others is our children’s group which meets on Sunday mornings from 10:15-10:50ish. This is a group based on living out the Golden Rule—do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Each week the kids work on projects designed to bring joy or help to others in our church and in our community. We have decorated pillowcases for the Cold Shelter Nights, baked cookies for local fire-fighters, made cards for those serving in the Military, created art & craft items for our shut-in members and so on. We would love to have children of all ages join us.
Grace Kids
Grace Kids Camp is held every Wednesday from 5:00—6:30 at Grace United Methodist Church during the public school calendar year. Grace Kids is an active midweek Bible based program for kids ages 4 years through 5th grade. Caregivers drop kids off and we begin with some playtime outside before heading in to start our camp activities which include worship through music & prayer, bible study, games, crafts, and a time of free play where kids can build friendships. Grace Kids Camp is active, fun, and allows our kids to learn while deepening friendships with each other and with Jesus. We would love for your children to join us in the fun! Bible Tales for Tots
Bible Tales for Tots meets every Friday morning from 10:00-11:00 at Grace United Methodist Church located at the corner of Cordova & Carrera Streets in downtown St. Augustine. We have 2 groups, the infant & toddler group where moms & caregivers get to share stories and support each other as the little ones play, and the pre-school group with a story, craft, snack & playtime for the little ones also allowing the moms & caregivers time to share and support each other. Free parking is provided in the church parking lot. We would love for you and your little ones to join us! Please pre-register your child by contacting Martha at marthayamnitz@gmail.com
Wednesday At the Park
Join us at the Park this summer as we meet together from 10:00-11:30 at different parks & playgrounds throughout St. Johns County. This is a great time for families to hang out at the park - the kids play with their friends while parents & caregivers have time to relax and build friendships. Everyone is invited to join us! All ages from infants to Great-grandparents are invited and encouraged to bring friends with them. Come have some fun at the park with us!
