Pastors and Ministry Staff

  • Rev Carolyn williamson

Carolyn Williamson is grateful to be a pastor at Grace! She has been an ordained minister for over twenty years. She and her husband David have served together at Conway UMC in Orlando, Spring of Life UMC in Orlando (a church plant they started), and now at Grace. Carolyn and David have one daughter, Julia, a high school student. She loves traveling, reading, spending time with family, watching basketball and relaxing at their cabin in Western North Carolina. Carolyn grew up in Winter Park, FL and attended Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and Duke University

Divinity School. Her gifts for ministry include preaching, teaching, and administration.

I'm the other co-lead pastor of Grace Church with Carolyn! I have loved the adventure of following Jesus and leading the Church to do the same along with her for 21 years. I'm naturally a keeper of tradition and routine, which may be why I enjoy distance running (12 marathons and counting), and maybe why God (along with the Bishop) called me to serve a Church like Grace for such a time as this. I can appreciate the traditions that brought God's people to where we are today, and I also trust that God is always making things new. I look forward to seeing next generations of disciples fall in love with and follow Jesus so that our community and world might know the beautiful grace of God that gives life.
