During the last few weeks we have been focusing on the good news of Jesus that we are “Called to More" than a life of shame, self-righteousness and distance in our relationship with God and one another because of sin. Jesus meets us in these tender, broken and seemingly impossible places of our life with this hopeful message that “There is More.” This Sunday as we worship we will be attending to God’s word from the gospel of Mark 1:35-39 and Paul’s letter to the Philippians 3:12-16 . . . Here we find guidance for ways we can continue leaving our sin behind and moving toward the abundant life God has for offered us through Jesus Christ.
